The Philippine economy has grown considerably since the Department of Tourism launched their widely publicized tourism marketing campaign aptly dubbed 'It's More Fun In the Philippines'.
The said campaign attracted a large number of tourists from Asia and around the world to see for themselves the popular Philippine tourist attractions. South Korea was listed as having the most number of guests totaling 1.17 million who visited the country in the year 2010. It is followed by the United States, Japan, China, Australia and Taiwan.
So many websites listed their own top destinations or attractions. Such include white sandy beaches, lush mountains, virgin rainforests, primitive exotic islands and incredible diving spots scattered all throughout the seven thousand islands in the archipelago.
Apart from the wonderful natural creations, the country also has a rich historical and cultural heritage plus the regional festivals and fairs that are as well flaunted as among the well known attractions of the Philippines.
